The Council of Attorneys-General Defamation Working Party is undertaking a review of Australian defamation law to identify areas for national reform.

Submissions are invited in relation to The Review of Model Defamation Provisions Discussion Paper, see information here.

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday 30th of April 2019.

Consultation on insurance claims handling

Treasury have released a consultation paper called Insurance claims handling which takes action on recommendation 4.8 of the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Royal Commission.
